The BCS TASO Softball is the organization for officiating all The University Interscholastic League (UIL), the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS), high school softball in Bryan-College Station, and the surrounding areas.

When you have a love of the game, one way to participate is to become an umpire. Whether your interest is in kids' softball or you aspire to become an umpire at a national championship, often the first  step is getting the training to qualify for the job. At the higher levels, that may mean obtaining certification as an umpire.

TASO is an independent organization, providing support, resources and training for Texas high school sports officials.

With more than 150 local chapters serving 16,000+ members throughout the state, we are one of the largest professional organizations for sports officials in the country.
